Thank heavens that is over.

Hopefully now that death Anniversaries, Christmas, New Year, and birthdays are over for another year I will begin to feel human again.

This post will not be in the right order of events as they occurred, the old memory doesn't work so well any more, but I will do the best I can.

Isn't nature magnificent!!

I guess most of you have had some one give you a mud map ( rough sketch of directions) at some time in your lives. This photo is real, it has not been fiddled with in any way, literally a mud map of Australia and Tassie wasn't forgotten.

I finally got around to contacting someone regarding my donations. I want them to go to the people who are homeless and living on the street. To be able to do that I was going to need someone affiliated with the soup vans. I did a bit of checking and decided to contact St Vinnies, which I did, and very shortly after sending my email I had a favourable response.

Enter Bro Doug, He agreed with my request that nothing I donate will be sold, all will be given directly to those people that need them. I am happy to know that is finally sorted out and I can get back to my knitting and crocheting.

I have already had Bro Doug out to pick up my first lot of donations, he is kindly storing them until the weather turns. I am limited with what I can keep here as I don't have the room for both my stash of yarn and the finished items. I sent in a mixed lot, scarves, hats, fingerless gloves, hand warmers, neck warmers, socks, bags and toys. I didn't do an itemised listing of how many of what but there were 68 items total. An assortment of sizes and colours.

Below, I crocheted this hat and felted it. I love the way it turned out and I will be keeping this for myself.

I don't much like wearing hats, but if I have to this is the only style I wear. The photo doesn't do the colour justice, which is a shame because it is a more vibrant that it appears, mauves, greens and yellows of varying shades

AND introducing, My Crochet Bag!!!

I love this bag to bits, when I first saw the pattern I wanted to be able to crochet this so bad it almost hurt lol. After quite a few starts I felt like I was getting along fine, then, change direction??? yeah right I was having enough fun going in one direction don't worry about altering it. Anyway long story short........SUCCESS.

I would like to thank a lovely lady Laughingpurple (aka Sharon) for lining the bag for for me, and what a fantastic job she did too.
