He mentioned that there have been a couple of cold nights already and some of my previous donations have already been distributed and the recipients were very happy to receive them. Knitting and crochet is a very rewarding hobby, I am so happy to have a reason to continue with it, and then again happy to know that someone will benefit from it.
I spent a lovely day in Daylesford last Saturday with my sister Carmel and brother in law John. It is Carmel's birthday on 31/3/09 so I arranged to meet her up there and have lunch. Lovely Chinese restaurant just opposite our old Primary School, food was delish!! The weather was just perfect, an ideal Autumn day, not a breath of wind and temps in the high 20's.
We then went down to Purls Palace (a Yarn Shop) where I purchased a lovely pattern for a vest and the appropriate wool. It is knitting project so it will likely take me a while as I have all sorts of problems with my thumb joints when I knit now.
