It would have been my 42nd wedding anniversary and right now I would probably be out having dinner somewhere celebrating, but it was not meant to be!
It is also Troy's (my eldest grandson) 21st birthday, I am quite sad that I am so far away from him on this special day. He lives in South Australia and I haven't seen him since his Pop's funeral.
I have tried to keep busy this weekend, so I will post a photo of the few things I made..

I sure know how it feels to be separated from kids and grands for special occasions, and 21 is a biggy. This year is a huge lot of firsts. Have just got back from a first celebration of my birthday with the dutchies, but son in Philippines. Missed both kids 30 and daughter's 21st. I feel also for your loss and the sadness the anniversary would have evoked tho I have not experienced this kind of loss yet, and if the docs do there jobs right I won't have to face it for a while.
